Creating Calm for Busy People Through Peak Lifestyle Management
A warm welcome to Hayley Granger, founder of Peak Lifestyle Management, who’s built a business around doing what so many of us wish we had time to do – helping people reclaim their time.
Whether it’s managing diaries or dog grooming appointments, planning marketing campaigns or birthday parties, Hayley’s business sits at the intersection of high-level business support and personal concierge. It’s a rare blend of precision, practicality and people skills — and it’s growing fast.
“If it makes things easier – and it’s legal – we’ll help”
Hayley’s business, Peak Lifestyle Management, has two distinct but connected branches. The first is lifestyle management for high-net-worth individuals and families. The second is business support, often in the form of virtual assistant services, but extending into everything from marketing strategy to operations support.
“We’re here to make our clients’ lives easier. That could be organising a renovation, managing their inbox, booking the dog into the groomers or their family holiday to Croatia. It really depends on the day,” she explains.
This flexibility is what sets the business apart. On one end, they offer the kind of full-spectrum household management more familiar in the US or Australasia. On the other, they deliver sharp, strategic business support for solo founders and startups who need hands-on help without the commitment of a full-time hire.
From New Zealand concierge to UK entrepreneur
Like many founders, Hayley’s route into entrepreneurship wasn’t part of the original plan.
“I was supposed to do events management at university. Took a year out to travel… and didn’t come back for ten,” she laughs.
While living in New Zealand, Hayley worked with a luxury destination management company, offering concierge services to villa owners. That’s where the spark was lit.
“I realised I loved the detail, the problem-solving, the people. I also realised I was quite nosy,” she jokes.
After returning to the UK nearly five years ago, she set up Peak on the side of a full-time events job. Two and a half years ago, she went all in.
The leap from side hustle to full-time
“I think the biggest challenge was actually doing it — taking the leap,” Hayley reflects. “Having a full-time job meant I could experiment. But stepping away from that security meant the risk went up massively.”
That decision has since paid off. Peak now works with a wide network of clients and has grown into a small but mighty team, offering a broader set of services than ever before. One of Hayley’s proudest moments? Taking on her first almost full-time associate at the end of last year.
“I advertised the role and got nearly 100 applicants. That was the moment I thought, wow, people actually want to work for something I built from scratch.”
Growth mode
Looking ahead, growth is the big focus. With a team now in place, Hayley is keen to build the structure around her so the business can run without her being in every detail.
““I want the business to be able to function if I step away”
“That’s important to me for a few reasons — personally, I’d love to start a family, and professionally, it allows us to scale without bottlenecks.”
She’s also planning a rebrand and looking at ways to evolve Peak’s offer into travel and events, bringing her original background full circle.
Helping clients cross the personal-business divide
One of the things that makes Peak unique is the way it bridges personal and professional support. That means clients can offload both marketing strategy and cat-sitting logistics on the same call.
“As founders, we don’t really separate our business and personal lives. So our support reflects that. It’s a total brain dump, and people love it.”
This holistic approach is something Hayley believes more businesses will need as demands on founders grow and the lines between work and home continue to blur.
What Hayley brings to the community
Having worked across industries and with all kinds of clients, Hayley has built a strong network of trusted professionals — and she’s always happy to connect others.
“I like to think I can offer good recommendations. Whether it’s a copywriter, a virtual assistant or someone to fix your boiler, we’ve got someone for it.”
She’s also happy to help with structuring support, delegating tasks or even just being a sounding board. “If you need help figuring out what you can get off your plate, I’m all ears.”
What she’s looking for
Hayley’s keen to soak up insights from fellow members who are a step or two ahead in their business journey.
“Whether it’s operating procedures, standardising services or just how to stay sane — I want to learn from the people around me. The community here has been brilliant for that already.”
Outside of work
Hayley is a keen hiker and runner, often found exploring with her beloved dog. Travel is still a big part of her life too — she’s spent over a decade hopping across the globe, and she’s not slowing down anytime soon.
Best advice?
“Trust your gut,” she says. “That intuition is there for a reason. If something doesn’t feel right, it probably isn’t.”
It’s a simple philosophy, but one that’s helped guide her through the bold decisions that have built Peak into what it is today.
